Wear a Mask

Masks help prevent people from getting and spreading COVID-19.

The science is clear. There is no doubt that wearing a mask, hand washing, and social distancing reduce the spread of COVID-19 and saves lives.

Get a Vaccine

All COVID-19 vaccines currently available in the United States are highly effective at preventing infection and serious illness.

By getting vaccinated, you can help restore our economy, prevent more illnesses and deaths in America, and eliminate and eradicate COVID-19.

Social Distance

In general, the more closely you interact with others and the longer that interaction, the higher the risk of COVID-19 spread.

We understand that you may be tired, but public health measures are not the enemy — they are the roadmap for a faster and more sustainable recovery.

Play it Safe, Gaston!

There are plenty of reasons to play it safe this season. Who are you playing it safe for? Family, friends, and local businesses need our help.

When planning to host a holiday celebration, you should assess current COVID-19 levels in your community to determine whether to postpone, cancel, or limit the number of attendees. If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, get tested.

You can wear a mask, wait 6 feet apart, and wash your hands often throughout the season to play it safe for businesses, family and friends. These simple, yet powerful actions can drastically slow and reduce the spread of COVID-19 and the flu.

Second shot completed! Here's to another step towards normalcy. #gastonsaves
Woo hoo! Dianne, Elijah, and I have all had our second dose of the Pfizer vaccine!
Here it is! "Teachers Facing the Challenge #4"! I kind of want a different name for this set of grids though. Should I use the 3 main qualities the masks symbolize for me? Like

1️⃣ would be "Creativity,"
2️⃣ "Compassion," and
3️⃣ "Commitment"?

I feel like I should have arranged masks according to each quality for that, though, right?
Maybe something like "Classroom Essentials" 1-3 to play on essential workers and how teachers are the common factor between online and in-person learning?
Hit me with other title ideas!
🖍️PS pre-orders for this and the other 2 grids in the second series will be available April 19, so mark your calendar!

My first dose of COVID vaccine is done. It was painless, as was the process of getting it. I did have to fight my way through the pollen blizzard. #SpringInNC #pfizer #gastonsaves
